Team Leader – Production & Picking
Location: Shirebrook
Hours: Full-time / Mon-Fri & Every other Saturday 8-12
Salary: Competitive
We are looking for a hands-on Team Leader to support our production and picking operations. This is a key role for someone who enjoys leading people on the shop floor, keeping standards high, and making sure daily targets are met safely and efficiently.
The Role
As Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing a team within a fast-paced production and picking environment. You’ll lead by example, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and quality while maintaining a positive and motivated team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and support a team within production and picking areas
Allocate daily tasks and manage workloads to meet targets and deadlines
Monitor performance, accuracy, and quality standards
Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed at all times
Carry out briefings, coaching, and on-the-job training
Identify and resolve issues on the floor, escalating where required
Support continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives
Complete basic reports and paperwork as required
About You
Previous experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor in a production, warehouse, or picking environment
Strong people management and communication skills
Able to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
A practical, hands-on approach with a strong work ethic
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
Flexible to work shifts if required
