Today, we’re introducing the FarmDroid FD60: a new level of autonomous field capacity for growers who need precision across larger areas.

With capacity of up to 18 hectares (44 acres) in 24 hours, a working width of up to 6.75 m and configurations for up to 20 rows, the FD60 is designed to cover more ground while maintaining accurate, repeatable field work.

Its 8 mm RTK GPS precision supports reliable sowing and mechanical weeding without herbicide. Solar-first power helps reduce reliance on external energy, while the autonomous system is built to support practical, efficient field operations.

Big day for the Agri-Droid team! 🚜

We’ve just sent out two brand new FarmDroid FD20 robots to their new homes. One is heading over to Worcestershire and the other to Warwickshire!

One is already out seeding sugar beet and maize, with more pictures to follow soon.

Both of these machines are kitted out with the latest 14mm seeding units, meaning even more precision and versatility for the season ahead. It’s great to see more farmers in the Midlands making the switch to fully autonomous, solar-powered weeding and sowing.
