These projects demand sturdy, reliable infrastructure to connect energy sources to the grid. But what about access issues in these remote areas?

SSE Renewables approached Beaver Bridge Hire Ltd in the trust we could support them with temporary access due to restrictions at the Stronelairg Wind Farm in Fort Augustus.

To accommodate this request Beaver Bridge Hire Ltd installed a Heavy Duty Bridge to maintain the vehicle access required for SSE. Already being in-situ for 9 months, a recent visit confirmed the bridge continues to provide faultless performance for their temporary access.

Our Heavy Duty Vehicle Bridges can be assembled in multiple variations to allow 196Tonne of load capacity (LM3, SV196).

Temporary bridging Tuesday 🌉

Beaver Bridge Hire has great pleasure introducing the new 11m x 6m Beaver Crossing Unit to accommodate the Newport BESS project for Clarke Enegry.

Clarke Energy have a highly desirable scope to deliver this project, while having the challenges to accommodate these works under a (TPO’s) Tree Protection order.

Beaver Bridge Hire Ltd's team delivered a full turnkey proposal with the installation of this bridge over night, over spanning the tree roots under a (TPO) to allow Clarke Energy to continue the development of the BESS project.

Our newly manufactured (BCU) Beaver Crossing Unit can be assembled in four configurations to allow 80Tonne of load capacity (SV80).

1) 11m x 1.5m
2) 11m x 3m
3) 11m x 4.5m
4) 11m x 6m

This modular BCU is a great bridge to overcome any difficulties you may experience in the delivery of your project, may that be renewables, construction, telecoms , gas/water works and much much more.
