It might be Budget Day, but it's business as usual at CES! ⚡️💚

Today, we're in Pudsey, Leeds, commissioning a 360kw PACCAR EV charging hub alongside the Heliox team at the DAF Trucks UK depot. 🚛⚡️

And we're not stopping there!

Later this week, we'll also be commissioning a 500kW solar PV system at the same site, helping to power both the EV charging hub and the depot's workshop facilities. ☀️

A fantastic example of how CES brings together large-scale EV charging infrastructure and solar PV to deliver a complete energy solution, helping businesses make the transition to electric HGVs.

Danny – I want to congratulate you on this amazing milestone and thank you from the bottom of my heart for the last 10 years of service you’ve given to CES. I remember the tame northerner I interviewed in the Kitchen at home, already pre-sold by your beautifully written (by Holly – the wife) CV, showcasing your ability to spark and plaster (a different time where it feels like we re-wired every other house in the Shropshire county!). How times have changed eh, from re-wiring houses, maintaining manufacturing plants, and installing 100s of residential solar systems (I’m sure we must be getting close to 1000’s combined by now), to today - installing Megawatt commercial supplies, high-powered EV charging and big factory industrial solar and battery storage systems, these achievements wouldn’t have been possible without you.

Today you’re my consigliere, and the person I trust explicitly to lead CES’ large scale projects, maintaining the quality and service we demand as a team and helping your peers on-site to progress to the same level of ‘electrical god-ness’ you’ve acquired over the years. Nicknamed ‘The Beast from the North-East’ that tame lad we once met is now an extremely confident (maybe a bit much sometimes 😉) individual, sat on the other side of the table, helping myself and Heid find the fresh talent required for CES to get to the ambitious heights we’ve set ourselves. Here’s to another 10 buddy, enjoy that double vodka and full-fat coke this weekend and thanks for always being by our side.

It was a fantastic opportunity to catch up with familiar faces, make some new connections and see so many brilliant local businesses showcasing what they do. 🙌
