How do you remove redundant pipework without draining an entire building system?
That was the challenge at a commercial office building on London Wall.
Our specialist engineers used liquid nitrogen pipe freezing to create temporary isolation points, allowing redundant FCU pipework to be safely removed across two levels.
The project involved multiple isolation points across both chilled water and LTHW systems, providing a controlled solution while avoiding the need to drain larger sections of the system.
Itβs a good example of how specialist pipe freezing can help keep commercial building services operational while essential works take place.
