We are currently expanding our team and looking to recruit several Skilled Drainage and Groundworkers to join us to work on a variety of various small projects across the Southwest.
Key Responsibilities -
Carry out all aspects of groundworks and drainage.
Undertake various tasks: blockwork, block paving, concrete work, tarmac, kerbing, and flagging.
Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards
Operate with professionalism when dealing with colleagues, clients, and site teams
Work effectively under pressure and use your own initiative
Utilize equipment and tools effectively to ensure high-quality construction work.
Excavating and preparing construction sites to include vegetation clearance, demolition and site strip.
Construct concrete foundations to include dig out, prepare subbase, setting up of temporary formworks, pour / finish concrete.
Assisting with the installation of utilities like water and sewerage systems.
Backfilling trenches and reinstating surfaces.
Preparation of road surfaces to include dig out, prepare sub-base and laying of kerbs.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.
Operating machinery such as excavators, dumpers, rollers and compactors (Competent operators only - proof of skill cards required)
Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Groundworks (Drainage experience essential)
CSCS, CPCS, or NPORS card (must display CSCS logo)
Own transport and PPE required to start with.
Additional tickets or certifications (e.g., machine operation) are an advantage but not essential
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Clean full driving licence.
£15.00 – £22.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience
CIS, with potential for permanent employment.
Free and on-site parking provided

Monday to Friday: from 07:30am – 17:00pm
