Weald of Kent Grammar School, Tunbridge Wells
A design and build construction project comprising a new detached sports hall (1300m2) with
ancillary areas including provision of new changing rooms, fitness suite, viewing gallery, studios, coffee shop and kitchen and reception area complete with all services, new drainage provisions and external works and associated alterations to the car park and landscaped external areas.
The new structure was erected on a former playing field area and we created disabled access ramps and paths linking school buildings. It was delivered on time and within budget. The school remained open and operational throughout the entire build period.
Access to the building externally and internally is fully inclusive with disabled access lift installed within the reception area.
