What a night! 🎉 Gransden Construction were proud to attend the Architects’ Journal Awards in London, where our recent project at “The Clearing” at Lesnes Abbey — designed by the brilliant team at Wonky Architecture — was nominated for the prestigious AJ Small Projects Award.

We’re thrilled to announce… WE WON!
Huge congratulations to architects Lefkos Kyriacou and Wai-Piu Wong of Wonky Architecture for their visionary work.

A heartfelt thank you to our exceptional site manager Darren Chapman and the entire site team — your hard work made this possible. It was also a real pleasure to work alongside Bexley Council, especially Lindsey Weaver and Ian Holt.

🚧 Exciting Update from Teynham Community Hall! 🚧

We’re thrilled to announce the successful completion of the floor replacement project at Teynham Community Hall, expertly carried out by Gransden Construction. This much-needed upgrade enhances the aesthetics of the hall and ensures a safer, more functional space for our community events.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in this project—your hard work and dedication are truly appreciated! We can’t wait to see the community come together in this revitalized space.

Teynham Parish Council is delighted to announce the reopening of the Teynham Community Hall following the successful replacement of its flooring. After four weeks of dedicated work by Gransdens Construction Ltd, the hall is now open for bookings and ready to welcome back community groups and events.

Landscaping progressing well around the picket Hamilton fort following the careful conservation works.

At the former site of RAF West Malling airfield, landscaping works are progressing well around the World War II, Picket Hamilton Fort.. a scheduled ancient monument. A Pickett-Hamilton fort is a type of hardened field fortification built in Britain during the invasion crisis of 1940 to 1941. The Pickett-Hamilton fort was designed to be lowered into the ground while it was not in use, to become inconspicuous and not interfere with the passage of taxiing aircraft or other vehicles. The fort could be raised about 2‘6“ above the ground where it would be a physical impediment to aircraft and vehicles, and from where a small crew could fire with rifles or light machine guns. have restored the original hydraulics, installed drainage and and new frame to set the fort in its raised position to be in display to the general public. New paving around to fort will display it in all its glory.. follow us for updates..
