160 kW of solar. Witnessed and signed off by the National Grid. Just another week at North Group ⚡☀️

We've just completed a major commercial solar installation for The Roasting Company, and Friday marked a big milestone: National Grid witness testing, passed.

That's not a box-ticking exercise. It means an independent body has verified that a 160 kW system is correctly connected, safe and ready to feed energy back into the grid. It's the kind of sign-off that only comes when the design and installation have been done properly from day one.

When Sleaford Moor Enterprise Park needed a full electrical fit-out, they brought us in from the start. LED lighting across every building, emergency lighting throughout, fire alarms in every unit, car park lamp posts, 15 commercial EV charging points, air conditioning, MVHR ventilation systems and commercial solar.

We’ve been a little quiet on here, but it’s been a busy start to the year behind the scenes.

We’ve been focusing on projects, planning, and continuing to deliver the best service for our customers. Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far this year — we really appreciate it.

As the weather starts to improve, it’s the perfect time to start thinking about air conditioning to keep your home or business cool, or solar panels to help reduce energy costs and make the most of the sunshine.
