A team from Hercules PLC will soon be tackling the Welsh Three Peaks Challenge to raise funds for the incredible work of the The Lighthouse Charity!

The challenge takes on the three highest peaks in Wales; Snowdon, Cadair Idris and Pen y Fan, covering 17 miles (27.4km) and 2,334 metres of ascent, all within 24 hours.

The Lighthouse Charity provides vital emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support to construction workers and their families and we’re proud to support their work.

We are looking to hire an experienced Safety Critical Planner to support a major Civil Rail project across the Midlands and North London, working with one of our prestigious clients.

This role includes:
• Planning and reviewing safety critical documents
• Leading whiteboard / planning meetings
• Planning and reviewing plant and train movements
• Leading safety critical teams
Pay rate: £26.00–£30.00 CIS per hour
Weekly pay
On-site support and presence
Minimum requirements:
PTS Sentinel Card + one or more of the following:
ES | COSS | PO | LXA | SW | PC
(SSOW Planner desirable)

- Site Visit at Skelton Junction -
Over the weekend, our team visited the Central Rail Systems Alliance
East Doncaster (Skelton Junction) site to see our operatives carrying out a core renewal and to have detailed discussions around safety with the CRSA team.

As our Senior Operation Manager Ryan Steel highlighted:
“This site visit was a great opportunity to see our operatives in action during these crucial and busy core weekends as we continue to support CRSA. It was also a great way to continue raising the importance of safety and the part we can all play in making sure we all go home safe every day.”

A big thank you to Mark Hardeman, Head of Operational Support at CRSA and our Health & Safety Advisor Paul Rodgers from the SHE team during the visit.

Great to see such strong collaboration and commitment from everyone involved.
