Project Showcase: Great Park Academy
RISS delivered the external SFS package, along with the full internal works including partitions, suspended ceilings, plastering and acoustic baffles.
The project was handed over on programme and to a high standard of quality, thanks to strong coordination and the commitment of our site and commercial teams.

Works with Robertsons on Bailiffgate hotel in Alnwick are progressing well. RISS are installing the SFS and CP sheathing board. The project is a new 47 bed hotel, with a restaurant, bar, fitness centre and meeting rooms.

We are looking forward to starting the Internal Partition and Ceiling works.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our busy and growing business for a Junior Buyer. The role would be working at our Head Office in South Shields and duties will include the below.

Working with Sage software raising purchase orders
Liaising with the site teams via telephone and email
Managing the purchasing Inbox
Managing plant schedules
Liaising with suppliers on delivery times/ quotations etc
Site visits where applicable
Cross functional working with other departments

No experience required as full training will be provided on all aspects of the role. Attitude to work and the ability to fit into a small but growing team is important.
The right candidate would be a confident person who communicates easily, can work alone as well as within a team and is motivated with the view for a career with the company.
Salary will be dependent on experience. School / college leavers are very welcome to apply.

Working with WHP we Installed the Steel Beams, SFS (supplied by Hadley Group) Internal and external boarding on these 120 modules at Port of Tyne, South Shields.
The modules were then shipped to Boxmeer in Holland.
This was a very different and enjoyable project with its own unique challenges.
The modules look great now situated in Holland.
