Welcome to Profile Projects.

After many years working in residential construction and project delivery, I started Profile Projects to offer something that homeowners often struggle to find — a properly thought-through approach from design to completion.

Too often, projects begin with ideas that look great on paper but don’t translate well once construction starts. My aim is to bridge that gap by combining practical design, professional project management and high-quality construction.

At Profile Projects we focus on three key stages:

Design – creating bespoke solutions that work in the real world, not just on screen.
Manage – carefully coordinating the process so projects run smoothly.
Build – delivering the finished result with attention to detail and quality.

The methodical process of building up floor levels when installing UFH

This is what a £200k renovation project looks like in the early stages!

This process was all about accurate and methodical preparation to ensure we achieved an evenly layered and perfectly level floor build up prior to installation of a water fed UFH system.

We left nothing to chance here by setting up some temporary timber rules to ensure the top of the sand blinding layer was flat and level before layering a damp proof membrane followed by high performance interlocking floor insulation on top.

The client was focused on maximising the thermal efficiency of the UFH system so the reinforced concrete floor slab was cast above the insulation with the heated pipework installed on top and then capped off with a liquid flow screed. This creates a large thermal mass which increases the overall efficiency of the system.

We now offer a bespoke design only service for home and garden using CAD software to create an accurate 3D model of your requirements that your building contractor and/or landscape gardener can use for accurate quoting and construction specifications.
