Weโ€™re really proud to share the transformation of the outdoor space at Hedge End Village Hall Preschool ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒป๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒฑ

This project was all about creating a safe, engaging, and practical environment for the children to enjoy.

The garden has been completely reworked to create one level throughout, replacing the previous multi-level & uneven layout to significantly improve safety and use in general.

Weโ€™ve installed a new porcelain path and patio area, along with an L-shaped raised sleeper bedโ€”giving the children a hands-on opportunity to get involved with planting and caring for their own plants.

The artificial grass area has also been fully renewed and slightly extended.
After removing the tarmac and mud that was beneath the previous grass area,
we installed the correct sub-base and drainage to ensure a safe, long-lasting, and suitable surface for play.

Itโ€™s always rewarding to work on projects that directly benefit the local communityโ€”especially when it helps create a better, safer space for children to learn and play.

A massive thank you to the other contractors/trades who were willing to give their time, effort and expertise to make this happen in such a short space of time.๐Ÿ™

Timber frame garden room coming along nicely.

-Dig out
-Type 1 sub base
-RC30 reinforced concrete base laid
-Engineering splash course laid.
-6x2 frames made and installed in place
-8x2 flitch beam made and fitted
-8x2 rafters cut in.
-External walls plied

All done within 6 working days....not bad considering the recent weather ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐ŸŒงโ˜”๏ธ๐ŸŒช

Bi-folds are being fitted now and 1st fix electrics being done this afternoon.
