Horizon Aviation Group are looking to hire an experienced electrical workshop technician to carry out component repairs on a multitude of Aircraft avionic/electrical equipment in support of our ever increasing customer base.
Experience of working within an EASA Approved component workshop is a requirement for all applicants along with being able to demonstrate in depth understanding of the following:

- OEM Component Maintenance Manuals
- Internal workings of Avionic equipment
- Electrical schematic drawings
- soldering at PCB component level
- Electrical workshop test equipment

Salary will be will based on experience,
Complete Employment package will be disclosed once applicant CV has been submitted and reviewed.

Horizon Design Services can confirm that part of our Augusta 109 LPV/ADSB solution will be available for use as part of our fixed priced upgrade package.
We are awaiting imminent approval for our Minor Design Change from EASA which will cover the physical installation of Avidyne’s IFD5XX/4XX systems into the A109 series Helicopters. The IFD5XX/4XX will be approved for interface to all existing Avionics system that are currently coupled to the original GNS530/430 equipment.
Certification for LPV/PBN/ADSB will follow shortly after under a separate EASA STC Design Change.

Horizon Avionics is very pleased to announce that in partnership with Avidyne we are in the process of gaining EASA STC Certification for LPV capability on the Cessna Citation Legacy Aircraft by installing dual IFD5XX NAV/COM/GPS Navigator units with GLAS software.
Avidyne’s revolutionary GLAS software allows seamless interface between the IFD550/540 and current EFIS system for LPV enablement therefore reducing upgrade costs significantly compared to other OEM LPV solutions.

Horizon Avionics is pleased to announce final testing has been completed on another successful ADSB & LPV compliant avionics upgrade on a King Air B200.
The new Avionics installation comprises of QTY 1 Avidyne IFD550 NAV/COM/GPS Navigator, QTY 1 IFD540 NAV/COM/GPS Navigator, QTY 2 GTX335D ADSB out TXPDR & QTY 1 Bendix King RDR 2000 WX Radar system.
