Powerflush on a 4 bedroom house carried out last week. Only 2 of the 7 radiators downstairs would work as it was blocked solid with sludge . We used a Kamco machine with Fx2 acid . Now all working great ready for winter

It’s come to my attention this week that a particular local plumbing and heating company (who I shall not name) have been condemning customers boilers stating they are unsafe and saying they need a new one.

The job I attending this week had theirs condemned when they weren’t even having any work done to the boiler . They then quoted the elderly couple over 4 grand for a new one which if they did need to change it should have been far cheaper than this!

I put the boiler back together, tested and inspected the boiler thoroughly and demonstrated and explained to the customer that his boiler was perfectly fine and safe and saved them a lot of money.

No company or professional is perfect and we all make mistakes and sometimes miss things, but to blatantly try and rip someone off like this is disgusting. So be careful if something similar happens to you and don’t be afraid of getting a second opinion .
