We are hiring!

We are looking to recruit Skilled labourers and General labourers to join our team for projects starting in 2024 & new projects going forward.

All candidates must:

• Be punctual and able to commit to a 5 day working week (Mon-Fri)
• Take pride and be conscientious in their work.
• Have good attention to detail.
• Have a full UK driving licence and own transport.
• Work as part of a team and be willing to take instruction and learn.
• Previous experience working on building projects is advantageous.

General working hours on site are 8am-4pm plus travelling time. You will need to get yourself to the project site, and may be required to work later if a project needs completing.

Positions are available from Jan 2024 - pay negotiable & dependent on experience.

Eco Renovation Project – Maldon Essex
•
This project was completed in 2022 and was a full refurbishment and thermal retrofit of two properties designed to EnerPHit Passivhaus standard.
•
The key focus of the project for the Owner was to achieve high levels of energy efficiency, resulting in lower Energy costs and a reduction in the Carbon Footprint.
•
This was achieved by implementing the architects design and retrofitting the below elements.
•
- New insulation and airtight membrane to External Walls & ground floor.
- New Roof structure including airtight membrane and Insulation
- New efficient Triple glazed windows
- New solid Timber doors.
- Low Airtightness target of 1.0
- Installation of new Air Source Heat Pump
- MVHR ventilation system
- Internal alterations to modernise the property.
- External alterations and a green roof cycle and bin store

We are very proud of this successful project which had complex areas of Eco renovation work, and have achieved two outstanding modernised properties, now with very low energy costs.
