Current sites
Bishopwood
The Bishopwood wind energy project is a 7 turbine application and will provide 14MW. The turbines will be 125 meters to the tip of the blades and will generate electricity for around 6,800 homes. As a result, there will be an average carbon dioxide emissions saving of 13,700 Tonnes per Annum. Application Status: Application submitted to Selby District Council for assessment

Hogs Hill
The site would be located south west of the village of Haunton and north east of the village of Wiggington, just off Syerscote lane. The site has been named ‘Hogs Hill’. The Hogs Hill wind energy project is a 2 turbine application. The turbines will be 102 metres to the tip of the blades and will generate electricity for around 485 homes. As a result, there will be an average carbon dioxide emissions saving of 980 Tonnes per Annum. Application Status: Application submitted to Lichfield District Council for assessment. Woodlane
The site would be located north west of West Haddelsey, north east of Birkin and south west of Gateforth, directly off Haddelsey Road. The site has been named 'Woodlane'. The Woodlane wind energy project is a 14 turbine application and will provide 28MW. The turbines will be 125 meters to the tip of the blades and will generate electricity for around 14,000 homes. As a result, there will be an average carbon dioxide emissions saving of 27,400 Tonnes per Annum. Application Status: Application submitted to Selby District Council for assessment

Wyggeston
The site would be located on land immediately north of the A14, west of Junction 1 and south-west of the village of Welford. The site has been named ‘Wyggeston’
Wyggeston wind farm project is a 1 turbine application. The turbine will be 102 metres to the tip of the blades and will generate electricity for around 242 homes. As a result, there will be an average carbon dioxide emissions saving of 490 Tonnes per Annum. Application Status: Application submitted to Harborough District Council for assessment
