Another update from our Otford project!👷‍♂️

We’re starting to see the shape of the house coming together, with the substructure blockwork progressing nicely.

In this update, Mark talks us through some of the important checks we’re carrying out before moving on to the next stage, including making sure the drainage and service entries are correctly positioned and checking everything against the kitchen layouts and timber frame design to avoid any clashes further down the line.

It’s all about getting the details right at this stage, to ensure everything comes together seamlessly! 🔨

Landscaping is underway at our Goudhurst project🌿

The garden has been cleared and levelled, the patio is in, and work on the front path is progressing nicely. Next on the list is the driveway and turfing, which will really bring the outdoor space together!

We can't wait to see the finished result🙌

With the groundworks progressing well and the blockwork taking shape, it's exciting to see the footprint of the house becoming clearer with every visit!

WE'VE BEEN SHORTLISTED!🏆

We're absolutely delighted to announce that our Wren House project in Wadhurst has been shortlisted for Best Timber Frame Home at the Build It Awards 2026 🎉

This beautiful home is a project we're incredibly proud of, not just because of the finished result, but because of the journey it took to get there.

When the original build quotations came in at around £1.4 million, our clients faced the possibility of having to compromise on their dream home. Instead, we worked together to find a different way forward.

Through careful project management, a high-performance timber frame and a truly hands-on approach to self-building, we helped deliver their dream home for over £450,000 less than the original quotations, without sacrificing the design, quality or performance.

A huge thank you to our wonderful clients, Angus and Ali, and everyone who helped bring Wren House to life.

We're keeping everything crossed for the awards! 🤞

NEW PROJECT COMING SOON!🌿

We’re excited to introduce one of our next projects, in the beautiful Suffolk countryside!

In just a few short weeks, we’ll be getting started on this site near Hadleigh, bringing this lovely little bungalow to life on a fantastic plot.

For this project, Elsworth Projects will be taking on even more than usual! Alongside full project management, we’ll also be delivering the groundworks, timber frame er****on and window package, meaning our team will be getting properly stuck into the build from the very beginning! 🔨

We’re really looking forward to getting started and can’t wait to share the progress with you as this project takes shape 👀
