We were referred for this project in a new self build plot to create a stunning feature wall with custom made storage unit and incorporating a hidden door. A little bit tricky this one but after spending time with our clients talking through exactly what they were wanting and how we were going to achieve it. We think the end result speak for its self.

A little garden table and benches made from some reclaimed railway sleepers the customer bought off of eBay. Constructed with stop tenon joints and yacht grade exterior glue so there is nothing to rust away in years to come.

Got invited back by this customer to change their skirting and architrave to a 6 inch square edge for that really modern look. Then working with the customer we talked though what they wanted to do with the rest of the space in their new wardrobes. (See previous post) They decided on a tall box unit, high level shelf and a unit under the hanging rail to bring the units together. This was a fun one to do to get the best out of the space for their needs.

A complete garden transformation from start to finish. Existing patio removed, new planter with inbuilt seat. Full dig off and hardcore in for the patio and astroturfing. Electrics in under the hard core. Smooth grey sandstone patio installed with a contrast path edging and then pet friendly astroturfing installed on quick draining grano dust and edges glued down to composite 2x2 under edge so their dog can’t dig up the edges. Ground, corner and planter up lights with a festoon running down the new feather edged and painted fencing.

Second fix underway at the project in Cambridge with the pocket door in and the hook latch installed also the long latch plate in the last picture is emergency exit latch that automatically unlocks the front door to the apartment when you use the inside handle to comply with building and fire regs.
