There’s a reason why it’s important to have your old radiators cleaned out from time to time and especially when fitting a new boiler.

Here’s a magnetic filter I’m cleaning on a boiler service that’s working really hard to try and keep the boiler clean!

We’re fitting loads of these remote sure-stop switches lately that allow you to remotely isolate your water in an emergency from the simple flick of a switch.

Just a reminder that we also do plumbing repairs and replacements!

Here's a few things we've been up to lately. A replacement electric shower, a new kitchen tap in Penkridge and resealing a bath on which the silicone had failed and was leaking through to downstairs.

And of course the usual gas and boiler services and repairs!

Finishing off a fire service today, not many people realise the coals should be placed back in a specific order in accordance with the manufacturers instructions. This is important to ensure safe operation of the fire.

Also a couple of snaps of us performing important flue checks to ensure all the products of combustion (carbon monoxide) are drawn up the flue and not entering into the property.

Even if you use your fire once a year we would recommend getting it serviced so we can check the chimney is performing as it should and there’s no chance of carbon monoxide entering into your property.

Unfortunately it only takes something to go wrong once for a disaster to happen!

Boiler relocated to what will become a boiler cupboard, installed with two heating zones alongside an unvented hot water cylinder.

Upgrading a system earlier today from an old timer to new smart controls. Also converting to a sealed system, fitting a magna-clean & flushing the radiators.

It's been a week of rear piping boilers!

Before and after of a Worcester 8000 30kw we fitted with filter rear piped for tidiness and to create more space under the boiler and also to the side!

Also a baxi 830 ready to go on the wall after preparing the pipework
