There’s been an accident on the Southbound carriageway on the M6 between Junction 14 & 12 (A5 Gailey).

Delays of around 1 hour and 40 minutes

In addition to this, there are delays of 20 minutes into Stafford along the A34 Lichfield Road due to the road closure between the A34 & the A518 on Riverway.

• There is queuing traffic on Baswich Lane, Stafford, heading along the bridges towards St.Thomas Lane.
• Delays into Stafford along the A518 at Castlebank.
• Slow traffic on the A34 Stone Road (both sides of the carriageway).
• 10 minute delays on Yarnfield Lane in Stone onto the A34 Fillybrooks.

• Queuing traffic on the M6 (Southbound) carriageway between Junction 14 (Stafford North) and Junction 13 (Stafford South).
• 15 minute delays on the M6 (Northbound) from Junction 14 (Stafford North) up to Junction 15 (Stoke on Trent/A500).

🗂️ Keep records updated and support daily admin tasks
🔄 Ensure smooth communication between customers, engineers, and the team

The M6 is CLOSED southbound between J13 Stafford (South) and J12 (A5 & Gailey) Cannock due to a collision.

• Traffic is also stopped on the M6 northbound between J12 (A5 & Gailey) Cannock and J13 Stafford (South)

• Delays up to an hour at the moment.

• There are also 30 minute delays on the A449 Wolverhampton Road (Southbound) from Rising Brook & Burton Manor, Stafford into Penkridge on the Stafford Road.
