Artec Studio 19.2 now supports the RCP format (Autodesk ReCap Project files)!
What does this mean?
Users can now easily export their 3D scanning data from Artec Studio directly in the RCP format, making the file ready for seamless use in Autodesk software such as Revit, ReCap, AutoCAD, and more.
Why is this important?
Until now, Artec 3D users needed additional steps or third-party software to adapt their data for Autodesk projects — complicating or even preventing the use of Artec 3D solutions in some architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) environments. With direct RCP support, Artec 3D scanners become a straightforward tool for creating high-detail, ready-to-use 3D data in AEC workflows.
