Current progress on this internal extension project 🔨

Structural timber frame wall and beam installation completed alongside all first and second fix plumbing and electrical works.
The extension is now fully boarded and currently being plastered, ready for the next stage of the build.

Final fix works to follow including radiators, skirting, architraves, new internal doors and final fix electrics.

Porcelain Tile Rear Garden Transformation

This rear garden has been finished with 120m² of large format porcelain tiles, creating a clean, modern and low-maintenance outdoor area.

The installation includes ACO drainage channels. Porcelain tiles laid on a 60mm sand and cement bed to ensure a solid, long-lasting finish.

Another kitchen extension completed by DDC – Design & Construction.
This project involved major structural alterations to completely transform the rear of the property.

We knocked down an external load-bearing wall that originally housed a kitchen window and patio doors, fully opening up the back of the house to create a seamless open-plan kitchen and living space.
We carried out the exterior footings to support the new structure before installing structural steel to achieve the wide rear opening.
From groundworks to final finish, we managed the entire build.

✔ Exterior footings completed
✔ External load-bearing wall removed
✔ Full rear opening formed
✔ Structural steel installed
✔ Roof structure and skylight fitted
✔ New modern anthracite grey kitchen
✔ Quartz waterfall island
✔ Herringbone LVT flooring throughout

The result: a bright, modern space built properly from the ground up.
