Contract Manager Jarred used one of his volunteering days to help out with Putnoe Scout Group this weekend.
Jarred said 'There was a total of approx. 400 Young people attending the weekend from across Bedford district, taking part in a variety of activities – archery, air rifle shooting, Inflatables, go-carts, crafts, backwoods cooking, tomahawk axe throwing and paddle boarding to name a few.
Being able to use my volunteering day meant that we were able to transport all of our kit and get set up on Friday ready for our YP to arrive in the evening.'
Jarred spent the weekend out on the lake running paddle boarding sessions for the Cubs, Scouts and Explorers. And crocodile wrestling by the looks of it !
