New boiler anyone?

A recent install of ours.

Who said plumbing wasn't glamorous?

Having radiators that are cold at the bottom and warm at the top can be a sign of dirty system.

Here, we chemically dosed the system at the start of the week to give the cleaner plenty of time to get to work.

We then isolated the radiators and adgitated them one by one forcing the dislodged sludge out of the system and into the loo (best place for it). We'll also flush out the cylinder coil and hand clean the tank in the loft to make sure no new dirt is pulled into the system when we fill back up.

New boiler day today for a lovely customer over in Gee Cross 🥳

This customer decided to stick with Vaillant after being impressed with the performance of their previous boiler.

A new Vaillant Ecofit Pure 35kw combi boiler was fitted along with a new vaillant filter after a chemical flush to help keep their new boiler and existing system in top working condition.

The boiler was then tweaked so that the heating output matched the requirements of the property to keep the gas bills down but keeping the extra power in reserve for when needed for plenty of hot water.

A new Hive smart themostat to control the central heating from their phone was also installed and, with the boiler being so close to the loft hatch, a guard rail to bring the installation up to current regulations was fitted.

This customer can now relax with a fantastic 10 year Vaillant warranty on all parts and labour.
