We woke up this morning to the new restrictions that have been imposed from midnight in some areas of the North-West England including our hometown of Stockport, Manchester, after a spike in coronavirus cases.
The new lockdown rules mean people from different households will not be allowed to meet in homes, private households or mixing with other households in restaurants although individual households will still be able to visit such hospitality venues.
It is understood that there is currently no endpoint to the restrictions but they will be subject to a weekly review.
The well-being of our workforce is of paramount importance during times such as this. Whilst we intend to proceed, as much as possible, on the basis of business as usual, the health and welfare of all of our workforce, clients and their family remains our upmost priority.
As a company we will continue to monitor the guidelines as set out by the Government as the situation unfolds and adapt our policies and procedures accordingly.
