Join our Team at Aeroco Group

We are currently recruiting Industrial Sewing Machinists and a Lead Hand to supervise our Sewing Team to join our team in Stockport.

Sewing Machinists
Candidates should preferably have previous experience of producing and repairing a wide range of textile products using an industrial twin needle and overlocking sewing machines.
- The role involves high repetition work requiring a consistent high quality output.
- Ability to change machine settings to achieve the correct sewing pitch as directed.
- Responsible for checking that finished work matches patterns/sample and is of a high quality.
-Basic machine maintenance is required – cleaning, oiling machines, changing needles and thread.

Sewing Team Lead Hand
Candidates should preferably have previous experience leading a team of Machinists, to produce and repair a wide range of textile products for multiple customers within the aviation interiors market.
- You will be an experienced machinist with experience of using an industrial twin needle and overlocking sewing machines.
- The role will require you to organise the successful flow of material and completing of tasks across parallel work orders by the Sewing Team, which meet the company’s OTIF (on-time-in-full) target of 95% and RFT (right-first-time) of 99% and to be working alongside the team on the machines.
