Ingram Installations Ltd is a family run business, established in 1972 is currently expanding the Service Department due to increased demand. We are looking for an experienced Service Manager or Experienced Service Engineer wishing to progress to a Service Manager Position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a team of Field Engineers and the smooth running of the Service Department Administration, being based in our Hazel Grove Offices. It is a flexible role dealing with Service Customer needs/meetings, Quotations, Site Surveys for new Service Contacts and assisting the Projects (Installations) Team when needed, but still being “on hand” with repairs and maintenance.

The ideal candidate should have the minimum following qualities and experience:
• Good organizational skills
• A “people person” with excellent communication skills
• Mechanically and Electrically competent in Diesel Generator Systems and Control Panels
• Proficient in Microsoft Packages – Excel and Word

Our normal working hours at 08:30 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:30 to 14:30 on a Friday, with a holiday package of 20 days + Bank Holidays rising to 25 days + Bank Holidays. Renumeration will be dependent on experience and a company vehicle will be provided.

Due to major growth in both our Installation and Service Departments we are looking for two Generator Engineers based in the North West and working out of our Stockport Workshop.

We are looking for Diesel Generator Engineers who have the following:

· Minimum 5 years’ experience within the generator industry.
· Good working Knowledge of diesel industrial engines.
· Good working knowledge of generator control panels
· Good understanding of Manual & Automatic change over systems
· Experience & basic understanding of PLC’s and microprocessor based control systems
· Good working knowledge fuel transfer & storage systems
· Experience of electromechanical installation work
· Good analytical & problem-solving skills
· A comprehensive understanding of electrical health & safety regulations
· Ability to work within a team or as an individual
· Able to demonstrate good written and oral communication skills
Be proficient in the use of computer software programs, (word, excel, etc)
