The importance of using a quality fuel such as LPG/propane is crucial.
LPG, when used as a fuel to propel a petrol-driven vehicle, tends to run hot. The exhaust valves are the first to suffer from the rise in temperature and need to be kept cool.
The simplest way to achieve a degree of cooling is through lubrication, either by injection into the combustion air stream or through additives in the fuel itself.
We have been adding GTX4 to our fuels since 1999. At that time, there were particular problems with some engines, such as the Ford Zetec, where valves were suffering badly even when running on petrol.
We have recently acquired details of a customer's Honda CRV, which has been running daily on our fuel since 2015. At the time of the last entry, the car had been driven for over 106,000 miles without any problems whatsoever and is still in daily use.
Another customer has used our fuel since 1999 in all sorts of vehicles and has never had a fuel-related issue throughout all that time.
Our additive, GTX4, is formulated to lubricate and assist in the combustion sequence. Its application based on empirical evidence is essential and worthwhile.
Happy motoring.
