What a week it’s been so far!

Knackered Potterton storage boiler out & in with a Baxi 36kw Combi boiler

Still going strong 40 year old Baxi Bermunda 401 back boiler & fire out so homeowner can have a multi fuel stove fitted next week & in went the Baxi-Main 30kw in the kitchen

Today’s boiler install!
Out went the 30 year old Ideal Classic boiler
In went the Glowworm 25R with rear flue option
Magnetic filter fitted in the airing cupboard so pipework can be re-boxed in & cupboard can go back on.

Took out the 15 year old Worcester Bosch boiler I originally fitted
Homeowner is renovating the bathroom so out came the water tanks & cylinder to make space for a shower enclosure

New Worcester Bosch 4000 combi boiler fitted at a higher level so they can fit a washing machine underneath.

Boiler service done & replaced split condensate hose with a new updated rubber version 👌

I always put pics on of boiler installations I do but the bulk of my work is really boiler servicing work I just don’t promote or show it.

Today was service day,
Here was a full service carried out on a a Worcester Bosch Ri I fitted around 10 years ago.
I went to town on this, it had a full strip down service, new electrodes & burner gaskets fitted along with flushing out the heat exchanger & washing out the condensate trap.

New build combi conversion!

Multiple issues on the old set up-
Faulty 2 port valves
Leaking prvs
Busted expansion vessel
Leaking filling loop
Ideal logic with fog horn sound when running
Pump packed up & was tripping house electrics so did a temporary fix free of charge last week then returned this week to rip everything out & fit a Combi boiler.

I’m not used to doing these kind of jobs on new builds where pipes are buried in the wall so made it a bit tricky
Customer now has more storage space in the cupboard & piece of mind a working boiler

She did say I would of preferred spend the money on a holiday though 😂
