Project Completion – GP Surgery Extension 🌟

We’re pleased to share the recent conversion of a former caretaker’s bungalow into a new extension for a GP surgery in Solihull, Birmingham.

The scheme provides much-needed additional capacity for the practice, incorporating three new consultation rooms, an office, DDA-compliant and staff WCs, and a staff room — all delivered to current HTM regulations.

This project marks the fifth completed of a similar nature for the same client and project team this year, further strengthening an excellent working relationship built on collaboration, trust, and consistent delivery.

Great effort from everyone involved in bringing another high-quality healthcare refurbishment to life. 👏

We’re approaching the final stages of our project at Hanbury CE School, replacing the existing mobile classrooms with a new permanent facility.

Neal R Shipley & Co Ltd recently took possession of this site in Clent, on behalf of Ruskin Mill Trust.

This project will see the sympathetic transformation of two barns and the connecting courtyard into the George Adams Research Centre, complete with a café and a festival space — a unique and inspiring project that is certainly one for the portfolio.

We’ve certainly worked in worse locations, and the neighbours aren’t too bad either…

It’s been a busy few weeks at our ongoing project Hanbury CE First School, which is certainly gathering pace. 🌟

The team has successfully delivered a piled foundation solution, cast reinforced concrete ground beams, and commenced substructure masonry works — all in readiness for the installation of the block and beam floor next week.

This project will deliver modern permanent facilities including classrooms, toilet provisions, meeting room, office and breakout areas to replace the existing mobile units that have reached the end of their life cycle. 🏫

A great team effort driving this important project forward — supporting enhanced learning environments for future generations.

We are thrilled to share that we are currently undertaking the construction of a Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) project for a school trust client in Birmingham.

In collaboration with our dedicated supply chain, progress has been excellent, and we’re on track to deliver a state-of-the-art facility featuring a full SUDs (Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems) design. This includes a permeable tarmac subbase and high-quality polymeric type 4 surfacing. Not only will this enhance the performance of the playing surfaces for football, tennis, and netball, but it also ensures effective drainage and environmental sustainability.

As part of Phase 2, we are excited to develop a dedicated cricket match pitch along with a fully enclosed cricket practice net facility. This addition will further enrich the sporting opportunities available to school and provide a modern, safe, focused environment for training and development.

Our team is dedicated to delivering high quality facilities that promote health and wellbeing, and community engagement. We can’t wait to see this project come to life and provide a fantastic space for sports enthusiasts of all ages!

Our team have successfully completed a project at the local town hall, transforming a disused entrance lobby into a modern Changing Places facility. Despite the challenges of limited access and parking, we delivered the project within the specified timeframe. This new amenity will greatly enhance the town hall's accessibility for all members of our community.

We're proud to have played a role in this important initiative. 🌟

Construction of a new single storey extension to create a new Bathroom Management Area (BMA) at a High School in Evesham, Worcestershire. The works were completed within a live school environment. 🏗 🏫
