It's all going on here at CJ, we have updated our building with our refreshed company signage, bringing the exterior right up to date with the modern "We Are CJ" look.

A big thank you to the team at Maxwell Jones Studios Ltd for supplying and installing the new signs so efficiently.

We still have a few internal signs to finalise over the coming weeks, and we cannot wait to see them installed to complete the transformation.

It was fantastic to be at Interplas UK last week, but what made it truly special was the sheer volume of conversations we had about UK-based toolmaking 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

For a long time, the default option for many businesses looking for injection mould tooling is to head overseas. Last week, there was a distinct and refreshing shift in the air. We spoke with so many design engineers and purchasing managers who are actively looking to bring their toolmaking back home to the UK. Hearing that passion for British manufacturing is incredibly encouraging.

At our facility in Stourbridge, we design and manufacture our tooling right here on-site. When you keep your tooling production local, you eliminate the risks of international shipping delays, bridge the communication gap, and gain the ability to walk onto the shop floor to see your project progress in real time.

Whether you need a high complexity multi-cavity steel tool or a simple open and shut rapid aluminium prototype tool, there is immense value in working with a partner just down the road.

What a brilliant week it has been for the team. After a busy few days exhibiting at Interplas, last night we attended the Express & Star Business Awards.

While we didn't take the trophy home, we are incredibly proud to have been named as a finalist for Manufacturing Champion. A huge congratulations to the winners, Jenks & Cattell Engineering Ltd and to all the other fantastic local businesses we celebrated with.

Making the shortlist is a true testament to the hard work of everyone here at CJ. Thank you to the judges, the organisers, and our amazing team.
