🔥📍 Saturday Openings Going Strong 📍🔥

We’ve now been open for the last two Saturdays at the Gas Yard on Eye Airfield, and it’s been great to see customers popping in for collections and top-ups 👍

If weekdays are a bit busy, our Saturday opening is there to make things easier.

We’ll be open again this coming Saturday:

⚠️ LPG Safety Check – Pigtails Matter ⚠️

These photos show cracked and unsafe pigtail hoses that were found yesterday during a routine cylinder exchange.

Over time, pigtails can perish, crack and weaken, even if they still appear usable at a glance. Most have a recommended lifespan of around 10 years, but as you can see, deterioration can happen — and this can lead to gas leaks, poor performance, or serious safety risks.

🔍 Our advice:
Please take a moment to check your own setup — look for cracks, stiffness, or signs of wear on your hoses.

✔️ If we notice worn or damaged pigtails during a delivery or exchange, we can replace them on the spot (with your permission).
✔️ We stock pigtails on all our trucks and at our offices
✔️ We can also fit them for you to make sure everything is safe and secure

A quick check now can prevent a bigger problem later.

We are extending the operating times at our ‘Gas Yard’ and ‘Shop’ on Eye Airfield and will be open from 10 am - 2 pm Saturdays for local collections and orders.
We understand that your weekdays might be busy, making it challenging to come and visit us.
Hopefully this will help when you need Gas, or gas related products.

LPG suppliers across the UK have now been affected by an increased cost of gas.

Starting with immediate effect a market volatility surcharge of £5 per cylinder will be applied to each gas bottle order.

We understand that additional charges are never welcome. This adjustment reflects genuine increases in global wholesale costs. Our priority remains the same: to provide reliable supply, fair pricing, and clear communication. If you have any questions, our team is here to help.
