A nice afternoon at Kishorn Port & Dry Dock as most folk are winding down for the weekend.

A few nice photos from onsite capturing the fantastic progress being made and giving a further glimpse of how things are taking shape.

Kishorn Port Ltd is pleased to welcome Dana Petroleum’s Western Isles FPSO following its relocation from Scapa Flow.

The arrival followed a detailed programme of marine preparations managed by Interocean marine services, including the installation of pre-laid mooring anchors ahead of the FPSO’s arrival. On arrival, Ferguson Transport & Shipping’s, Port and Marine services team worked alongside the anchor handling vessels to support the connection of the offshore mooring lines, followed by the shore-side mooring team receiving and tensioning the soft lines, securing the FPSO onto the hybrid quayside mooring.

The operation demonstrated the combined marine, port, and shore-side capability available at Kishorn Port, with teams working together to safely bring a major offshore asset into the port and secure it on its moorings.

With deep water, sheltered conditions, extensive laydown space, and an experienced port and marine team, Kishorn is well positioned to support large-scale offshore energy projects and complex marine operations.

We look forward to supporting Dana Petroleum and the Western Isles FPSO throughout its stay at Kishorn.

It was great to see Kishorn Port Ltd represented as part of the West Highlands business delegation in London this week.

Kishorn Port Managing Director, Alasdair Ferguson, joined fellow West Highland businesses in meeting with UK Government representatives, MPs and key stakeholders to highlight the opportunities across the region, as well as the challenges.

In particular highlighting the need for offshore Wind , in particular for floating wind to be included in the “Strategic Spatial Energy Plan” (SSEP)

It was a very insightful and valuable couple of days, providing an opportunity to strengthen connections, share ideas and highlight the opportunities across the region.

We look forward to building on the discussions and exploring how KPL can continue to contribute to the future growth and development of the West Highlands.

Kishorn Port Ltd is a finalist! 🏆🌱

We’re thrilled to have been shortlisted for Environmental Excellence at the 2026 OEUK Awards.

Our environmental work is focused on making better use of the infrastructure we already have, delivering responsible decommissioning and recycling, and developing Kishorn’s capabilities to support offshore wind and future renewable energy projects.

With significant investment and development underway, we’re excited about the role Kishorn can play in supporting the next generation of offshore energy while creating a sustainable future for the site.

It’s fantastic recognition of the work happening across the Port and a real credit to everyone involved.

We’re looking forward to celebrating alongside the other finalists at the OEUK Awards ceremony in Aberdeen this November 🎉
