Quite an extensive underside overhaul on this beautiful e46....
Started off by dropping the rear subframe and stripping the interior out so we could do repairs to the Rear axle carrier panel.
Once any cracks were stopped drilled and welded we could weld in the plates supplied by redish motorsport.
After that we moved onto stripping the rear subframe down to its bare components and pressing out all the old tired bushes.
Next we dropped the front subframe with the engine in situ and stripped that down and took everything along to Stella Blast for powdercoating.
Any surface rust on the underside was taken back to nice shiny bare metal and then a good thick coat of Rust Encapsulator primer and finally a nice top coat of Buzzweld DTM tinted in RAL 1013 Oyster white.
Once the shiny powdercoated subframe components were back in house we pressed all new powerflex poly bushes in and got the frame back underneath the car.
Finally we built everything back up with new bearings, calipers, discs, pads, dust shields and some braided flexies to neaten things up abit.
