Most companies see a tight access point as a problem. We see it as a design brief.

We recently completed the installation of a 35,000 litre final rinse and recovery rinse tank at a large scale brewery, and the biggest challenge wasn’t the size of the vessel, it was getting it into position.

The tank needed to pass through an extremely restricted doorway into an existing plant room. Removing walls or altering the structure would have added cost, time, and disruption to the client’s operation.

So we engineered around it.

Using a “top and tail” installation method, we were able to manoeuvre the tank through the tight access point without any structural modifications. This required absolute precision across design, fabrication, and install. Every millimetre mattered.

The result:

✔️ Full 35,000L capacity achieved

✔️ No building alterations required

✔️ Minimal disruption on site

✔️ Seamless installation as part of a full turnkey CIP system

It’s a great example of how the right engineering approach can turn a constraint into a non-issue.

A key part of our quality checks is measuring surface roughness (Ra) on a vessel using a highly accurate, calibrated digital micrometer.

For many of our clients, hygiene is critical. Surface finish plays a huge role in that. The rougher the surface, the greater the risk of microbiological build-up, which is why Ra testing is a non-negotiable part of our quality control process.

We ensure surface roughness meets our clients high standard requirements for hygienic and regulated environments. Every vessel is checked, recorded and verified before it leaves our workshop.

It’s a small measurement, but it has a big impact on performance, compliance and long-term reliability.

Quality isn’t assumed. It’s measured.
