A big push was required on this 100 square metre roof this week.
Upon stripping off the old roof we were met with obstacles beneath.
Luckily the roof joists were in good condition but all different sizes and all shapes. Leaving us to cut each firring individually to obtain a flat, even surface in which to lay the boards and EPDM.
We had 3 long hard days before the rain came to strip, rectify, insulate and get this building back watertight before the rain forecast today.
I couldn’t be more thankful for the team we have for pulling together and literally working as hard and efficiently as possible to make this happen. Well done lads. We did it!
