We adapted the roof to enable this stunning golf simulator/gym to be created.

Clever planning and logistics has made this extension flow nicely from the main house rather than feeling like a bolt on like many extensions do!

Who wants a golf simulator in their garage 😁

We are converting an existing double garage into a golf simulator with a very unique way of gaining height to be able to swing your clubs, including your driver 😀

We have removed a section of roof trusses and added some perlins to take the weight of the roof creating the all important head height

We have also created a link between the existing house and the garage making the new space super user friendly

I see a lot of back and forth on social media about NHBC changing their regs from day to day, week to week.

The fact of the matter is that it’s not true. Regs are revised annually, advance notice is given of the technical updates before they are implemented.

If a foundation of a plot is started before an update is released then it’s subject to the rules and regulations in place upon commencement of the foundation.

That’s why many developers pulled foundations in advance of the new Part L regs, if they are started before the new rules then you don’t have to build to that standard.

It’s a myth the rules are changed like the wind.

If you are asked to revert back to an old reg or implement a new one, check with the site manager on the foundation date.
