Holiday time is here again 😎😎

Business is now closed for a couple weeks to spend time with the rat bags at home and my wife 🙂🙂

Country Green Heating Ltd is now closed for a couple of weeks.

Week away camping for childrens half term and then immediately back into gas safe exams for the week commencing 1st June. Yikes, every 5years have to be reassessed on core gas safety along with all other elements as they expire too, not fun times 🙃🙃

Days worth of flushing a system today following a boiler service. Not seen a system so bad in such a long time.

Luckily the customer had a quality magnaclean professional 2 fitted on the system or imagine this poor water quality would have taken the boiler out, a weak Glowworm HXI.

Thinking would have a lot of time today, think only half way through job after hours of getting radiators to work properly and replacing leaking valves.

Hopefully be working well for this winter, pictures so far, arghhh 🤣🤣🤣 getting there 🙃🙃

Always get your water quality checked on annual boiler services 🙂 the water is always the key player to any system.

Big old fat batty unhealthy me here has been wanting to do something for the CALM charity (Children's Cancer and Leukaemia movement) for quite a while to give something back to them since they been so kind and supporting whilst Seraphina my daughter was terribly ill with her Leukaemia.

My wife Ria asked what I wanted for my 49th birthday 11th May and I said a marathon 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️ so i could raise money for the charity.

In true my traditional self, this conversation obviously happened after a couple beers in the sun and certainly not whilst working out at a gym, unless you call carrying a crate of beer on my tummy a workout and ingredients for baby guinesses and cocktails in Waitrose a work out 🤣🤣🤣

This challenge will push me more out of my comfort zone than I can imagine & wife be looking forward to my life insurance pay out.

Its all for a really great cause and charity.

Done a couple of 5k runs now, but be along way till I get to a half marathon distance let alone my final goal of the full marathon 42.2km (f**k me!) on 20th September this year at Badminon in Gloucestershire.

This is the most efficient boiler ever built.
A G-rated Ideal E-type, highly likely older than myself, got to be 50years old now and still going strong and working well.

Imagine it has out latest some A-rated condensing boilers by 3 times at least 🤣 and as for a air source heat pump, sure thats a completly different story 🙃

Old boiler rule 🤣🤣 can repair and go in most cases 20minutes i imagine!
