Unprecedented May heatwave, so of course I've been in a loft!

The third of three in the last month or so.

The loft leg has proven to be a fantastic product to use for me. A really easy way of boarding new builds without compromising the insulation thickness.

This one in particular was a bit of a bigger job.

With very poor access, there was no real way of knowing what I was up against, but luckily I've been able to make the most of a fantastic space. I've added a super easy fold down wooden ladder with enormous access size. I've also had to strip what was there and add a 200mm insulation layer to existing. Then the loft legs have come in to play again. All boarded, leaving serviceable access to gas pipe and flue.

I'm now off to spend the rest of the heatwave cooling down 🥵

Another alteration on a new build kitchen finished today.

On this, I've reconfigured the oven housing to incorporate a Microwave/oven combi and warming draw to add to the existing single oven.

Added a new, replacement sink and filter tap to the main kitchen.

Then in the utility, I've cut down the existing wide base cabinet to allow extra room to fit in the tumble dryer, replaced the worktop and fitted another new sink and tap.

Micro combi, warming drawer, exact colour matched replacement doors and matched worktop supplied by The Rigid Kitchen Co

It wasn't long after this customer had moved into their new house, that they realised the existing oven just wasn't got to cut it. So I've been in, cut down the existing corner bases and fitted reduced sized doors to suit their new oven. I've also had to cut down and move the wall cabinets to suit the new cooker and hob width.

Also on this, I've fitted a door lining to a very peculiar shaped opening and fitted a door removed from elsewhere in the house.
