💥Customer Notice – Price Update💥

Due to rising material costs linked to ongoing Middle East conflicts, i’ve had to review my pricing.

I always aim to honour my original quotes, but when there’s a gap of several months between quoting and starting work, increases in material costs can have a significant impact.

I’m a small, family-run local business, and i truly value every customer. I hope you understand my reasoning, and i completely understand if this isn’t something you had budgeted for — it wasn’t something i anticipated either. I will absorb a small portion of the increase, but unfortunately i can’t cover the full rise in costs alone.

I will be contacting customers with upcoming bookings directly.

Not posted for a while again, i need to get back to posting every week. We finished the little extension job off and customers are over the moon with the extra space we created for them. We then started a new extension job. Whilst digging the foundations we found every pipe going lol but got over it and redirected some. We are making good progress and should be up to scaffold height next week!!

Been a while since I last posted. The weather has been shocking so far this year. First extension job I've insulated the roof, installed a half tonne steel in the back of the house, boxed out round waste pipe and it's been plastered this week. My other little extension job is built and I've nearly finished the timber work for roof.

I have just been on current extension job the last couple of weeks. The weather hasn't really been on my side, with rain and freezing temperatures but I've managed to get it up to wall plate height ready for the roof to go on and window and doors have been ordered!!

I am quite booked up for next year already but still feel free to get in touch with any building enquiries!!!

So been a bit quiet the last couple of weeks. So on current extension job, we got footings dug out and concreted. Then last week we was back on other extension job doing cut ups and finishing middle wall off, now scaffold is down need to give it a clean down before windows and bi-folds go in. Then this week was back on current job to get it up to damp and started building the blockwork!!!

So this week we got wall plates on and middle wall up. Roof trusses are going on, on Monday so cut ups will be done next week. Also started new job this week which involved taking conservatories down, which was going fine until found mesh in one side of the floor which made it a pain in the bum to get up!!!

So extension is all up to wall plate height but weather today stopped us from getting middle wall up and wall plate on, so they will be finished on monday and then its over to the A.J Roofing & Property Maintenance to get roof on and then we can get cut ups done!!!
