Another rubber roof install this week.

We stripped the old felt and ply off this leaky old roof. Replaced some of the joists and bulked them up properly, new OSB boards and the rubber with all the trims.

A rubber roof to start the week. Out with the old, tired, cracked, leaky fibreglass roof. We stripped this back to the joists, new OSB, rubber, trims and gutters. Even re fitted some fallen tiles while we were up there. Actually starting to enjoy these now so hit us up if you’re thinking of having one at your place 😎

So he doesn’t post a lot, but it’s 9pm, he got home at 6pm, helped put the kids to bed, showered, ate some toast (I offered to cook 🤣) and is now back at his quotes. If you’re waiting for quotes please be patient! He’s on it, he hasn’t forgotten but he had to work all day, spend time with our children then work on those quotes for you.

This job started as a simple knock through of a kitchen and diner for Kesseler Birmingham to do their work. It ended with us installing an RSJ from Modern Fabs, a partial re wire, from C And A Electrical Contractors LTD ,some new plumbing from Ultimate Powerflushing Midlands and fresh plaster from Plasterking.

Can you change a door into a window and a window into a door??? Of course we can!!! We took out the brickwork below the original window nice and carefully to re use the bricks under the new window. There was also no lintel above the original door with the joist sitting straight into the frame, let’s drop one in to be safe. 😎

Just a little one this week. All of the brick on edge had failed on this small wall, it was also needing a Repoint. The joints to this small patio area were also a little worse for wear with some of the slabs coming loose.

We replaced the brick on edge with a blue engineering brick that will last much longer and repointed the wall below.

Then we used a brush in grout to sort the patio area too.

It’s all looking better and the customer was please. Happy days.

Who uses a garage for their intended purpose anymore?? This customer wanted to make it a bit more usable for his family’s needs. We dropped in a suspended floor and stud wall to separate the areas. Boarded and plaster and cored out for the air recirculation unit. The customer did the rest. How good does this look!! 🎸🥁🤘🏼
