Here are photos of a completed project in Bishops Lydeard.

We transformed two old farm cottages into a single family home, adding a side extension for a new dining room and hallway. Key features include reclaimed doors, underfloor heating, sanded and oiled floorboards, and preserved original details.

We’re proud to showcase this recent extension of a historic mill near Bishops Lydeard. Having completed similar projects before, we were well-prepared for the unique challenges this site presented. The construction required reinforced concrete walls to retain the surrounding ground, a complex task we executed with precision. To seamlessly blend the new extension with the original structure, we used reclaimed slate and stone from the site, preserving the mill’s character and heritage.

New kitchen, utility and internal wall removal. We also vaulted the ceiling and removed a wall to create an open plan living room, dining room and kitchen.

Hi there.

We are writing to let you know about ‘The Campbell Rooms’ which provides group accommodation and meeting space. It is located near the hamlet of Over Stowey, Bridgwater, Somerset at the base of The Quantock hills.

The Campbell Rooms can be hired on a daily basis, or for overnight accommodation for up to 24 people and may be of interest to your organisation.

Being within a stone’s throw of Greatwood Forest and picnic area, it makes a great meeting point or base-camp for exploring the Quantock Hills.

The YMCA had it within their care for the last 18 years and we have now taken it over. We don’t think many people know it exists, so are just trying to let people know about it!

As an ex-village hall, it provides a decent sized main hall area, clean but basic accommodation, a kitchen, showers and a small outdoor space with a fire pit area and parking.

Hire rates start from £60 per day.
