🔶 Shaldon - Structural Bank Stabilisation

🔸 This project was particularly challenging due to the access/egress and structural requirements needed to support the bank. Originally timber had been used to create a sub structure and deck but after a period of time this had failed with rot so a new engineered approach was required.

🔸 Works included the installation of steel posts with concrete lintels before a composite joist and millboard deck was installed. In addition new steps and handrails were added to form useable split level spaces. Final elements of the project were to install vertical fencing, tiled wall and a Catio utilising the existing buildings framework.

Total Renovation, Teignmouth

This project involved a complete renovation and modernisation of an existing 1970s building. This was a complex job with a high amount of specification being added to the new framework of the building.

The works required:

🔸 Removal of existing structures
🔸 Installation of temporary works propping along with engineered structural support beams.
🔸 Extensions
🔸 New roof
🔸 Electrical: New 3 Phase supply along with rewire & smart tech.
🔸 Plumbing: UFH (Underfloor Heating) ASHP (Air Source Heat Pump) HRVS (Heat Recovery Ventilation System).
🔸 Solar
🔸 Aluminium windows including bi-fold and sliding doors.
🔸 Internal and external refurbishment.

Steel & Timber Frame Extension

On this project we were asked to create a small steel and timber frame extension to the rear of the property. New doors and windows were added along with a log burner and 2 electric velux to the roof area.

Structural Extension, Teignmouth

On commencement of works for this project a new ring beam was added followed by the build of a brickwork extension with new terracing and glass balustrade. Structural beams were required to support the existing 3 floor house to make room for a new basement kitchen diner with utility. New Doors and windows were added along with upgraded bathrooms, en suites & WC’s.

Cottage Roof, Dormers, Windows & Exterior Painting - Shaldon

On this project we were required to replace the existing roof and form new dormers along with changing the uPVC windows. Additional works were to paint the exterior of the house.

Bungalow Conversion, Teignmouth

Works involved the complete strip out/dismantling of a 1970’s bungalow along with roof removal. A structural steel frame was added at first floor level to make open plan living along with the garage being converted to an annexe with storage. New terrace/paving formed with glass balustrade.
