BRICKLAYER APPRENTICESHIP
Starter Apprenticeships and Part Completed Apprenticeships

Job description
Full training to be given in the form of Intermediate Apprenticeship delivered by a Construction Training Centre in Telford. For applicants who are looking to start out or applicants who are already part-completed (e.g. previous Carillion employees).

The successful applicant will be a vital member of the team.
* You will be working on new build sites with some of the biggest names in homebuilding.
* You will be trained to pointup and over time learn to lay bricks with a qualified bricklayer.
* You will learn to erect masonry structures in the workplace, plus repairing and maintaining masonry structures.
* You will study taught sessions as part of the apprenticeship framework at the training centre.
* You will need to attend the training centre for one day each week for the duration of the qualification.

* Bricklaying apprentices are required to have a practical approach whilst working.

Qualifications required CSCS card - you will need to have one before you can start on site.

Future prospects This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who wishes to undertake a career in bricklaying as upon completion of the programme you will be level 2 qualified and have full experience of the job role. There may also be the opportunity to gain full time employment with this employer past your apprenticeship if you work hard and prove to be an asset to the company. Pay will be reviewed on a regular basis and bonus payments will be applicable for punctuality and attitude.

Things to consider May have some early morning starts and you may be required to work in some bad weather conditions.
May be required to travel to a pickup point.
