STOLEN

Our Takeuchi TB325R and pe**er on hire from CBL (CLIVE BARFORD LIMITED) has been borrowed from us by some lovely people.

This was taken Monday 31st March between 2pm - 7pm at our site in Gravesend, DA11 8HX.

Although we wish this was a April Fools joke, we very much doubt we will be seeing it again. We have CCTV enquires being made, if anyone has seen anything please get in touch.

Charity fundraiser 2024!

Wow what a great day had by all, some great golf on the day was played (but also some bandits) haha!

Between ourselves and Woodwright Construction we would like to say a big thank you to everyone that attended, sponsored, and that have been part of our Charity Golf Day for Teddies For Loving Care.

We could not have done this without all you guys, the support from local businesses to individuals & also The Ridge Golf club for letting us use their venue who also went above & beyond to help our day run smoothly.

With an incredible £6000.00 plus raised with your generosity… Thank you to everyone who took part and contributed to this worthy cause.

Class C HGV Driver

We are seeking professional Class C HGV Drivers to drive our 6 & 8 wheeled clamshell grab lorries for our rail division, the ideal individuals are to take pride in maintaining the lorries and drive in a respectable manner, bonus if you can get on the tools as well £.

Please see below further information:

What are the works?

• Delivering materials such as asphalt, concrete and general building materials to site
• Clearing sites

When and where are the works?

• Predominately nights however daytime working as and when required, with the nature of the railway there can be busy weekend periods and would need to be willing
• We cover the South East & surrounding, Sussex, in & around Greater London, in some case further

What are the requirements / expectations?

• Class C License
• Ideally min 5 x CPC Categories
• Lorry loader ticket such as ALLMI or similar, to support use of clamshell grab
• To comply with our O License & Transport Manager requirements
• Transport to our yard where the lorries are kept, located in Maidstone, Kent
• Drive with good manners
• Experience with HIAB

Skilled Operatives / Foreman

We are seeking Skilled Operatives / Foreman type individuals to join our rail division; you must be willing to work as a team, as an individual take pride in the work you deliver to an acceptable standard.

Please see below further information:

What are the works?

• Anything from platform and car park resurfacing, drainage, platform repairs such as coper replacements, tactiles including stick on type, lighting schemes and much more

When and where are the works?

• Predominately nights however daytime working as and when required, with the nature of the railway there can be busy weekend periods and would need to be willing
• We mainly cover the South East & surrounding, Sussex, in & around Greater London, in some case further

What are the requirements / expectations?

• PTS
• Foreman: SSSTS, the ability to fill out Task briefings, Risk Assessment, Permits & COSHH, take great part in ensuring everyone is home safe every day, working in a safely manner
• Small tools tickets, 1st Aid, CSCS are a bonus
• Transport to our yard as a meeting point, located in Maidstone, Kent
• Works to be completed to a acceptable standard
• Good people skills

With the excitement of pubs opening on the horizon we were trusted by Brighter Homes to bring an area back to life, as the client put it we nailed it!

At the Rose Inn Pub located in Bearsted, we successfully installed a new slatted fence with steel channel posts to support.

The client and landlord were both over the moon with the transformation. Something so simple has made a huge difference to the look!

“All good things come to an end.”

Its been a privilege for us to be chosen by Amey to complete this prestigious busy road upgrade at Week Street in Maidstone.

This job included high end finishes, including granite kerbs, which we imported from Spain and block paving with a four-colour mix.

We were given a five-week deadline and managed to complete it with one day to spare!

Another great effort from our installation team, a big thank you to all involved in making this all possible.
