SITE PROGRESS - DOWNHAM MARKET

Now that the steelwork is complete and the netting and safety handrailing has been installed, it's time for the external cladding and roof panels to arrive on site.

In the next couple of weeks we'll be able to show you a huge transformation at this project! Meanwhile, the team are prepping the internal area for it's new floor slab and drainage works have also commenced.

Our client has only ONE of these units available now! So if you're interested, contact Brown & Co - Kings Lynn for more information!

COMPLETION, THETFORD

Back in October 2025 we installed this incredibly robust concrete plinth for a returning client, that now houses two large liquid nitrogen tanks that serve their factory's operation.

The plinth itself is 750 millimetres thick, which makes it approximately 3-4 times thicker than the typical concrete slab you'd find in an HGV yard. It also contains over 3.2 tonnes of loose steel rebar which has been skilfully tied by our civils team to maximise the strength of the plinth. To finish the project we installed 15 mild steel bollards filled with concrete, which provide protection to the tanks from heavy vehicles and plant in the yard area.

Another great project to complete, thanks to everyone involved in its delivery.

PROGRESS UPDATE - WISBECH

Lots happening at this residential project recently, since our last update the interior is unrecognisable!

The property has now been completely relined with plasterboard and skim, a mist coat has been applied over the plaster and it's almost time to see the kitchen fitted now that the newly tiled flooring is complete.

We can't wait to see this home fully decorated and ready for handover!

PROGRESS UPDATE: LONDON

Since our last update we have completed most of the intumescent painting in the first building along with the toilet block and electrics. The floor slab in the second building has been poured and cured, with intumescent painting now underway. Externally the drainage and ducting has been progressing well as we prepare to begin pouring the concrete yard areas by setting in the kerbs and channel drains.

We are now heading down the final stretch on this project. Stay tuned for further updates!

PEDDARS WAY CHARITY WALK

Remember at the end of March we told you all to watch this space? 👀 Well, it's time for us to lace up the walking boots again and of course we're doing it for a good cause!

Meet Adam, he's in charge of procurement here at Trundley. Sadly at the beginning of the year his mother passed away after a short stay at The Queen Elizabeth hospital, and the Peddars Way Unit for Palliative care.

Adam and his family will be setting out on the challenge of walking the 46 mile route of the Peddars Way in 2 DAYS on 23rd & 24th May 2026. Team Trundley will be joining them on and off the trail, whether that's putting in miles along side him, setting up campsites for the midway point or delivering snacks and fresh water.

We would love for you all to support Adam and his family, the link for the Just Giving page is in our bio or swipe to see the QR code and read Adam's own words for why he chose this fundraiser. 🤍

SITE UPDATE - WISBECH

Progress has been good since the last update, the scaffold is now down and we are most the way through installing the windows and external doors with a few items remaining.

Internally now the first fix carpentry is complete, we have been able to run pipework and cable for the plumbing and electrical systems.

As we finish the last of the insulation, plasterboard will soon be getting installed to line the internal walls and ceilings.

PROJECT COMPLETION - NORWICH

After 3 months on site we recently handed over this home renovation in Norwich, with the client moving out temporarily we were lucky enough to have full access to this property for the duration of the project.

This meant we were able to completely strip out the interior including the heating and electrics and start again. Our work here included: installing a new kitchen and utility room, tiling and installing new suites in both bathrooms, replacing all the windows and doors with more efficient UPVC, reflooring and giving the whole property a fresh touch of paint.

This job was a dream from start to finish and we look forward to seeing our client settle back into this wonderful home.

PROGRESS UPDATE - DOWNHAM MARKET

The steel frame alterations are now complete with structural steel openings currently being formed for the large industrial section and personnel doors.

We are now installing the concrete ring beam to the perimeter, this will form the shuttering to allow us to pour the concrete slab.

Up next will be the netting and safety handrailing ready for the installation of the roof panels and all external cladding.
