BBC Radio Norfolk did a section today on DIY skills and asked Steve if he would be happy to take part in their piece - of course Mrs BMH said he would!!!!!

1/4 of young adults in todays society have little or no basic knowledge of DIY mainly due to skills not being passed down from generation to generation. There are many places you can go for advice including the large decorating and DIY centres, but if it’s really something you can’t tackle yourself then we can help!

We were recently asked to refurbish a damaged wooden worktop. The worktop was badly marked with water and heat marks and hadn’t been sealed for some time.

After prepping the surface, cleaning, and sanding, it was re-sealed and siliconed around the edge.

This week we have a garage conversion project. This involved putting up a partition wall, encasing a control unit for the garage door, boarding out and insulating the loft area, inserting a loft hatch, plaster and painting.
