🏡 UNDERFLOOR HEATING – UPSTAIRS & DOWN! 🔥

A great project completed in Dereham, Norfolk, where we installed underfloor heating and Cemfloor screed across both floors of this impressive new build.

📐 123m² Ground Floor – UFH & Cemfloor
📐 115m² First Floor – UFH & Cemfloor

⬆️ Upstairs, we used SuperFOIL SFUF multifoil insulation, with the UFH pipework clipped directly into the system. SFUF is particularly useful on upper floors where floor build-up and weight can be restricted, providing insulation in a much slimmer build-up than conventional rigid insulation.

🔥 Why Cemfloor?
Cemfloor is an ideal partner for underfloor heating. As a flowing screed, it fully surrounds the UFH pipes, helping transfer heat evenly through the floor. It can also be installed at reduced depths compared with traditional sand & cement screed, which again helps when floor build-up is limited upstairs.

The result is a slim, efficient floor build-up without compromising on the benefits of underfloor heating.

Thanks to Gaskin Builders Ltd for the mention on their latest project at The Grain Store, where our team are currently installing TLA pumped insulation to the ground floor.

🏡 LATEST PROJECT | NORFOLK BARN

Great to be back working for a repeat customer on this lovely barn project in Norfolk.

The customer took advantage of our complete flooring package, with Co-Dunkall taking care of the insulation, underfloor heating and screed from start to finish.

Before getting underway, we carried out a FREE site survey, discussed exactly what the customer wanted to achieve and made sure the floor build-up was right for the project.

The finished package included:

100m² Insulation
100m² Underfloor Heating
100m² Cemfloor Screed

For the final stage, we used our Transmix mobile batching plant to produce the Cemfloor screed fresh on site.

We’re approved installers of Cemfloor, a high-performance cement-based liquid screed which works brilliantly with underfloor heating. Its excellent thermal conductivity helps transfer heat efficiently through the floor, while its fast-drying properties and minimal surface laitance help keep the project moving – with no sanding required. 👌
