Back in 1985, the Ashton family started Crushing & Screening Ltd with a big vision and a modest beginning, initially focused on site repair and servicing work in the quarrying and recycling industries.

Four decades later, we have grown into one of the UK's leading manufacturers of bulk bagging machines, trommel screens, screening equipment, conveyors and bespoke material handling solutions, supplying customers across the UK and internationally.

Introducing our latest bespoke steel belt cranked conveyor - designed and manufactured right here in North Yorkshire by the team at Crushing & Screening Ltd. www.crushingandscreening.co.uk

This project is a great example of what we do best! Our client came to us with a specific challenge, and we delivered a fully custom solution built precisely around their operational needs.

The unit features a 450mm wide steel hinged conveyor belt with 50mm high cross flights, driven by a 1.1kW 3-phase motor through an inline gearbox, and includes a friction torque limiter for added protection and reliability. The conveyor has been expertly mounted onto a sub frame, purpose-built for shipping in a 40' container, ready to get straight to work wherever in the world it's needed.

And this isn't a one-off. This is actually one of two units we have recently designed and manufactured for the same client, which speaks volumes about the confidence they have in our work.
